The Norwegian/Czech expedition.
During our stay at camp4 we meet a couple of cool, beer drinking Czech. Together we attended the Yosemite face lift party's every day for 5 days. The last day before Michel and Kenny left we teamed up for an magnificent adventure/expedition. We Climbed The Moratorium.
We started a bit early, so when we got to the base of the climb we had a siesta for about 1-2 hoers before the rout finally got into shade.
Michel had first Lead at 5.10d, a substaind and very good pitch withe the crux at top. As usual Michel climbed elegantly 2/3 of the pitch before he got some trouble with a loose block. But at the crux he played his way trough.
Second pitch was mine (Thor) also 5.10d. Again the crux at the top, thin and with cool stemming moves. I had to pull on a cam to put in the next nut. But after all a nice pitch.
.
The crux pitch, again, siggy pushed on. Awkward 5.9 start to a rest before the 5.11b crux. He fought his way through in his "never give up" style and did it
